Host family

If you’re looking for a true Spanish immersion experience in Barcelona, there’s no better option than staying with a host family. You’ll stay in a single room (or a double if travelling with another student) in the family’s home. Bed linens and towels are included, and you’ll also have free Wi-Fi and access to the washing machine (just pay for detergent). This option includes half-board, so you can practise chatting in Spanish with your family during meal times. Host families are located a maximum of a 35-minute journey by public transport from the school.

Please note that students ages 16-17 must book the host family option with airport transfers.

Located in the vibrant neighbourhood of Eixample, this residence is perfect for students who want a strong sense of independence and an active social life during their stay in Barcelona. Enjoy your single room (or double, if travelling with another student) with free bed linen and towels, a fan or air-con, and the choice of either a shared or ensuite bathroom. Yugo Garbi student residence is in the scenic neighbourhood of Sants-Montjuic and is perfect for students to experience the vibrant lifestyle and beauty that Barcelona is known for. The residence is in a modern building, just 18 minutes from class via metro. Students can expect a single room with a desk, kitchenette, WIFI and ensuite bathroom . While there are no shared kitchens, students have the option of either half or full board from the residence – this will need to be arranged prior to departure and paid for upon arrival. Students can use an app to pay for the onsite laundry facilities and will be provided with linens and towels which are changed regularly. The property has a weekly room cleaning service at no additional cost. Yugo Garbi is the perfect place to make new friends, with multiple shared facilities such as a leisure room, cinema, study room, coworking space, and gym.
