Our partner school in San José Coronado is located on the “Quinta Toyopán”, a former farm surrounded by a tropical garden in a sunny and green area. Students have 10 well-equipped classrooms, a library, a multimedia centre with computers and Internet access, a television as well as a small cafeteria at their disposal. There is also easy access for wheelchair users. During their free time, students have the possibility of renting bikes, films and various games. The qualified teachers have both wide experience of teaching their mother tongue as well as a contagious enthusiasm for Spanish. Learning is directed towards daily spoken and written communication!

Our partner school carefully selects host families who generally live around 15-30 minutes away from the school. In this way, you will share in the everyday experiences of a Costa Rican family and thus learn more about the culture, and will have the opportunity to practise your Spanish daily in a relaxed and motivating atmosphere. You will stay in either a single room or a double room (for students travelling together) with half-board provided,. Please note that bedlinen is provided but not bath towels.

Residence

For students who wish to share with other international students during their stay, our partner school also proposes staying in a residence, which is on the same site as the school. You will stay in either a single room or double room (for students travelling together) and will share a kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, TV and a tropical garden with the other residents. Please note that bed linen is provided and that the residence also has a WiFi connection.
