With an excellent network of carefully selected host families, the school organises homestays for students. The hosts offer half-board or breakfast only and generally live around 30 minutes from the course centre (with a maximum distance of 60 minutes depending on the season). Staying in a single room, you will experience authentic Berlin life with locals, while enjoying some home comforts. Double room only available for students travelling together.

Usually called a WG (Wohngemeinschaft), this is a very popular way for students and twenty-somethings to live in Germany. If you are looking for more independence, staying with one or several German people in the very heart of Berlin could be perfect for you. Sleeping in a single room, you will share the bathroom and kitchen with your flatmates. This kind of accommodation encourages you to discover Berlin on your own terms. These fantastic apartments enjoy a central location either conveniently situated on the top floor of the school building. The area is full of cafés, bars, restaurants and shops, and the apartments are within walking distance of several public transport options.
The apartments are to be shared by a maximum of three Alpadia students and are made up of two bedrooms (single and double), a shared bathroom, a kitchen and a dining area. Bedsheets and towels are provided, and there is free Wi-Fi in the common areas. In addition, laundry options are available on-site. 

This residence is located in a trendy, central neighbourhood, just 22 minute's walk from the school. It is perfect for both students who want a lively and social experience, as well as those who are looking for independence. Students have the choice of either single rooms in a shared apartment of up to five other students or a studio apartment. Single rooms have shared bathrooms and have access to a shared kitchen for self-catering. The single rooms are also stylishly furnished with a single bed, storage space, and desk – studio apartments have the same but also include a private bathroom, kitchen, and pantry. Students will be provided with bedsheets and towels, which can be washed using the residence’s free laundry facilities. On sunny days, students can socialise with their new friends on the terrace of the fourth floor.

This comfortable, modern residence is located in Moabit, a central Berlin neighbourhood bordered by the Spree River and various canals near the Tiergarten. You’ll feel right at home in your en suite single room with its own kitchenette. In your room, you’ll find free bed sheets and towels, plus a desk, wardrobe, chair and lamp. The building boasts free Wi-Fi throughout, a rooftop terrace, covered bicycle parking, laundry facilities and a large common area with a TV and shared kitchen. School is just a 25-minute bus ride away!

This residence perfectly blends independence with social opportunity by offering cosy modern studio apartments with access to plenty of social facilities – all just 10 minutes by bus from the school. These self-catered studio apartments are furnished with a sofa, table, chair, and a kitchen for students to cook for themselves. The residence provides linen and towels which can be cleaned for a fee using the onsite facilities. There is a cleaning service every two weeks, and WIFI is available throughout the building. Between classes, students can unwind in the onsite gym, or socialise in the common area with TV and games.
