Staying with a host family in Chicago is without any doubt the best way to practise English and immerse yourself in American culture. Each family is selected with care by our partner school, and they'll welcome you in a double or single room with the option of no board, half board or breakfast only provided. The families live in districts where you will find several bars, restaurants and bookshops. Your host will usually be 55 minutes average from the school by bus (maximum travel time 70 minutes during high season).

Located a 35-minute walk from the school, students will have the choice of either a studio apartment or sharing a 3-bedroom apartments offering single and twin rooms – each option includes free bed linen and towels. In the studio apartments, you’ll have an ensuite bathroom and kitchen, whereas in the shared option you’ll share the kitchen, bathroom(s) and living room with other students. You’ll have access to amazing on-site facilities, such as the gym, the indoor basketball court, the yoga studio and the computer lab. Wi-Fi and cleaning service are included, while the laundry facilities are coin-operated. These apartments are surrounded by shops and restaurants, and the main city attractions are just a stone’s throw away!

This accommodation option offers a comfortable stay in Chicago near Lincoln Park and numerous restaurants, cafés and bars. Distance to the school is also convenient – you’ll be a mere 30-minute ride away on public transport!

You’ll have a choice between a single or a twin room and will be provided with bedlinen and towels. Single rooms may have private or shared bathroom options. The kitchen is to be shared, as are other areas such as the TV lounge, the outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace.
