Living with a host family is an attractive option on many levels: it's the ideal setting for practicing the language and immersing yourself in English culture, and you know exactly how much you'll spend on meals for the duration of your stay. You’ll be able to choose between a single or twin room (for students travelling together), and between 3 meal options: half-board, breakfast only and self-catering. The families live around 60 minutes away by bus from the school.

Note: It is compulsory for students under 18 to book homestay accommodation, airport transfers (if arriving or leaving between 20:00 and 8:00), and provide a parental consent form.

Enjoy everything that Brighton has to offer by staying in a social student residence within the city’s bustling centre, just a 17-minute walk from the school. You’ll have the choice of either a single room in an apartment of 3-7 students or your own studio apartment. Shared apartments will have access to a shared kitchen and living room equipped with a TV, while each room has a small double bed, storage space, workspace, and an en suite bathroom. Studio apartments have a small double bed, storage space, workspace, an ensuite bathroom, and a kitchenette. Bed linen is included, but you should bring your own towels — both of which can be cleaned for an extra fee using the onsite facilities. You’ll need to prepare your own meals in your residence’s kitchen, and room cleaning is available at an extra cost. The building is purpose-built for students and has plenty of facilities for you, including a shared gym, games room, a garden, a multimedia room & lounge, and a picnic area.

Enjoy the privacy of a single ensuite room equipped with a desk, bed, wardrobe, and storage space. While each room has linen included, you should bring your own towels — both of which can be cleaned for a fee in the onsite laundry facilities. When you feel like making new friends, all you need to do is leave your room! As you’ll be sharing your apartment with up to eight other students — each apartment has a shared kitchen and a TV in the communal area for you to enjoy. Your room will be cleaned weekly, communal areas will be cleaned daily, and you’ll be given a food voucher to use for meals in local shops, restaurants, and cafes. After a long day of studying, you can socialise and relax in the common room and games room shared by the building.
